Listen to the podcast
On episode 25, we discuss the Advanced School For Scientific Software Development, an educational effort in Trieste, Italy supported by the International Center For Theoretical Physics (ICTP) under the aegis of the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). This workshop was organized by Stefano Cozzini, Antun Balaz, and Graziano Giuliani, to whom we are all very grateful.
On today’s show our unusually large crew of guests includes:
- Jeudy Blanco (Costa Rica)
- Glib Ivashkevych (Ukraine)
- Yalda Kolahdooz (Iran)
- Óscar Nájera (Ecuador)
- William Oquend0 (Colombia)
- Tommy Guy (Canada)
- Katy Huff (moderator)
This week Glib Ivashkevych, Yalda Kolahdooz, Óscar Nájera, Jeudy Blanco, and William Oquenda were some of the (nearly 50) students who attended the workshop. Tommy Guy and myself were co-teachers. The workshop was focused on software carpentry tools and was targeted toward student researchers in various areas of physics who use computing to do science !
