Listen to the podcast
Episode 16 is in a ‘Lightning Round’ style where each of our panelists brings a topic to the discussion. We then proceed to hack it out, as briefly as possible. The three rounds this week are numpy’s storied datetime implementation, trying to mix domain specific languages, and workflow management for the common experimentalist!
On today’s show our crew of hosts includes:
- Geraldine Van der Auwera
- Chris Farrow
- Ray Roberts
- Anthony Scopatz (moderator)
- Andy Terrel
Note: We had some serious issues with the microphone this week. All apologies. I promise to buy a new mic soon!

While download speed was twice faster this time (~55KB/s) then Episode 13, audio quality is much worse to unlistenable

As stated in the show notes, we are aware of this problem and trying to fix it. The room mics that we have, while convenient, do not seem to have a reliable quality. We won’t be using them again. I did my best to make the existing show listenable. I am sorry if it did not measure up.
